Computer Store News: Microsoft today released Build 10061 for Windows internal plan participants, bringing many new changes and features. Microsoft has released an update log of all new features and fixes. You can install Build 10061 to experience these latest changes and check for updates and downloads via Windows Update.


What's new in Build 10061?

New calendar, mail universal app: these apps bring performance improvements and familiar tri-fold mail interface. New quick-switching options make it easy to switch between mail and calendar apps. The message adds a swipe gesture action, swiping from right to left to delete, add a flag, move, or mark as read/unread. The content creation experience in the new mail app is significantly improved, making it easy to insert tables, images, or format colors for text. The new mail and calendar app now supports Office 365, Exchange, Outlook.com, Gmail, IMAP, POP, and other accounts.

Start Menu, Taskbar, and Action Center Improvements: Build 10061 brings a new black system theme, which is set to work with the Start menu, toolbar, and Action Center. The start menu and taskbar are now transparent and the user can also adjust the start menu. We also support enabling AutoColor to replace your desktop background with your favorite colors. With the Personalize section's Settings app, you can adjust the color and transparency of the Start menu, Taskbar, and Action Center. Check out these settings and give us your feedback. Based on your feedback, we have now moved the power button from the top right corner of the start menu to the lower left corner to make it more in line with your operating habits.

Improved continuous features: The taskbar now optimizes tablet mode. When entering the tablet mode, the start button, Cortana, the task view button size will be increased, easy to touch, the notification part of the project is also widened accordingly. In addition, fixed and running applications are removed by default for cleanliness and simplified operation. The start menu and task view are preserved for easy launching and switching of applications. If you are used to the taskbar, you can also set the enable taskbar in tablet mode. We now also provide a setup item that can be launched directly into tablet mode. For tablets below 10 inches, this is the default behavior.

Task Preview Improvements: Microsoft has made several improvements to the task preview visual interaction, including Alt+Tab and Snap Assist, and Microsoft has redesigned its icon.

Virtual Virtual Desktop Improvements: Now you can create multiple virtual desktops without restrictions. When you create a limit on your screen, a new global preview experience will help you make better choices. .

What parts have been fixed?

Fixed an issue where Outlook new mail index does not work.

Fixed a Hyper-V enablement issue.

Visual Studio no longer crashes when creating a new universal application project.

Also fixed a few issues with the Spartan browser. Now you can double-click on the title bar to maximize the interface. Some alignment adjustments have also been made to the collection bar, and text and icons do not appear partially at the bottom of the collection bar.
