Win10 allows users to select the display of the resource manager

Computer store news: Microsoft's rule for the new operating system Windows 10 seems to be choice, choice, choice. Users now have more privileges to change the operating system to their liking, switching between the start menu or the start screen, tablet mode on or off, color adjustment and more. But the vast majority of user feedback provided to Microsoft is around the user's desire to enable different UI elements such as transparency, or a more gorgeous UI like Windows 7.

Microsoft has already addressed some of these feedbacks, but there are still many that are currently not progressing. There is a domain that users care about —— the default view when the resource manager opens a new instance, and now the user can customize the default view.

Users can choose between This PC and the new Quick access view. For Windows 7 users, "This PC" is my computer, but the Quick Access View is a new Windows 10 feature. The Quick Access view allows users to view recent and frequently used files and folders, and users can choose to put certain items into quick access.

Windows 10 allows users to switch between the two default options in the top folder option. The option is “Open Explorer to: ", where the user can choose between Quick Access and This PC.
