Is it a system update or a product replacement?

Computer Shop News: There have been a lot of recent news about Windows Blue. A few days ago, TheVerge quoted a screenshot of a suspected Windows Blue released by Winaero, showing that Blue's Windows NT core version number is 6.2. Although TheVerge couldn't determine the Blue version number shown in this screenshot, they said that Microsoft did raise the latest NT core version number to 6.2 a few weeks ago.

Screenshots do not show the features of Windows Blue. We know that Windows Vista's NT core version number is 6.0, Windows 7 is 6.1, Windows 8 is 6.2, then Windows Blue's NT core version number upgrade to 6.3 means that this will be a major upgrade of the Windows system, but this is Traditional Windows iterations are a bit different, which is not in the traditional sense of "Windows 9".

There is news that Microsoft is trying to change the iterative approach and cycle of Windows products. Windows Blue will likely target more hardware devices, such as 7-11-inch screen tablets, and may be cheaper. Ways (like subscriptions like Office 365) reduce the iteration cycle of Windows products to 1 year. The Windows Blue update is believed to be released before the end of the year and is targeted at both Windows 8 and WP 8.
