Win10 supports high DPI display

Computer Store News: From the new icon in the Windows 10 Technology Preview in January, we found that some of them were designed to support higher resolution displays, which confirms our report last year. This is good news for users who want to use Windows 10 on high-resolution display devices.

One of the biggest problems with Windows 8 is the lack of support for high DPI display devices, which are becoming more common today. Ordinary icons are unclear or distorted on high-resolution displays, which is a headache for users.

Among these icons, the highest resolution is 768x768, which is 9 times the highest resolution 256x256 icon. Many notebooks now have a maximum resolution of 1366x768, so this icon can fill the vertical height of the screen. However, it is clear that it is not designed for computers of the size of a laptop. For high-resolution screens, the icon of this resolution may not appear very large.

This may not seem like a big problem at the moment, because many people are unable to buy such high-end display devices, they have extremely high resolution, but there is no doubt that this will become the standard in a few years. Microsoft ensures that Windows 10 is ready for the future
