Do not let Win8.1 RTM install Bing input method

Computer store news: Microsoft officially announced Windows 8.1 RTM yesterday, which has been delivered to OEM partners; in addition, Win8.1 RTM Enterprise Edition (64-bit, Simplified Chinese) was accidentally leaked. After experiencing Windows 8.1 RTM, are you satisfied with its upgrade on Win8.1?

In the process of experiencing Win8.1, the soft media Xiaobian found a situation of “spoofing” and shared it with everyone. When installing the Bing input method in Win8.1 RTM, I encountered the following prompt:

“ The system comes with the input method is the latest version of Microsoft Pinyin input method, no need to install Microsoft Bing input method. Please click ‘OK’ to exit the installation. ”

God horse? Win8.1 RTM does not allow the BYD input method!

In this case, we can analyze it in two ways.

First, Microsoft does believe that Microsoft Pinyin input method and Microsoft Bing input method in Win8.1 do not need to coexist, Bing input method is for the previous system of Win8.1.

Second, Microsoft will improve and correct the process of further improving Win8.1 RTM in the future.

Users of Bing input method must have a deep understanding, call it "ld.; the current best pinyin input method" is not excessive, except for the lack of support for Metro mode, Win8 and Win8.1 The built-in Microsoft Pinyin input method is actually not comparable to the Bing input method. I can't think of it. Microsoft's confidence is that "Win8.1 does not need to install the Bing input method".

If Microsoft really does not intend to use Win 8.1 to use the input method, I think many users will refuse to upgrade Windows8 to Win8.1.

Friendly reminder: If you really want to use the Bing input method in Win8.1, you can try to install an old Bing input method v1.1.79.04 and then upgrade automatically.
