Windows 10 current usage has risen to 12.4%

Computer store news: According to foreign media reports, the latest survey report shows that Microsoft's latest system Windows 10 usage has risen to 12.4%, which means that the usage rate of other systems is declining. Although it can be seen from this figure that Windows 10 is not the most widely used system in this family, it has shown a growing trend. Of course, Windows 7 is still the most popular operating system, accounting for 64.2%, but it is down 6.9% from the first quarter of this year.

The number of Windows XP and Windows Vista users continues to shrink, with their current share of 3.7% and 2.3% respectively. In the first quarter of this year, their share was 5.8% and 3.9%. The share of Windows 8 users dropped from 2.2% in the first quarter to 1.7%, while Windows 8.1, the predecessor of Windows 10, also experienced a slight decline (the same as 16.8% in the first quarter, now 15.7%). To be honest, this achievement of Windows 10 is still a bit disappointing. It has not even surpassed the Windows 8.1 launched last year. After all, Microsoft has invested a lot of manpower and material resources for the new system. However, this is justifiable. For some individual customers, change is too much trouble. For corporate customers, change can mean weakening productivity. However, it is believed that as the deadline for the old system security support approaches, more and more customers will be transferred to the new camp. Since this set of data is counted as a visitor to the US government website, the report may not represent the entire United States, let alone the world, but in any case it does give a picture of system diversity. It is reported that in September this year, Windows 10 downloads exceeded the million mark, surpassing Apple's OS X with a slight advantage of 0.20%.
