Translation: Meet the Change, Embrace Windows 10

Computer Store News: In the past week, almost all places are talking about Microsoft. Content from Windows 10 to Surface Hub to HoloLens. Redmond's press conference has made the entire technology world (even more than) talk about Microsoft. Satya Nadella himself said that Microsoft wants everyone to love Windows. If you want to make it a reality, the road is long and long.

Just as Windows 8 is a big change for Windows 7, Windows 10 will also revolutionize. To continue to grow and grow, change is essential. But change can also be daunting or even frustrating. We are all creatures that rely on habits. However, the changes brought by Windows 10 will be overwhelming and we should embrace it.

One of the hottest debates seems to be the visual change brought about by Windows 10. The burger-style menu is coming, the side scrolling and "Metro style" seem to be gone. Unhappy is understandable. Many Windows 7 users have despised Windows 8, and now many satisfied Windows 8 users have also made changes to Windows 10.

This is the case. Microsoft is going to make Windows 10 such a style. Whether it's on a mobile phone, tablet, ultrabook, desktop PC or Xbox, Windows 10 is the future, and that's what it is (currently). If everyone falls in love when they see it, it means that Microsoft has not done enough. Because Windows 10 shouldn't (and can't) be built with an operating system that everyone is happy with, it should be built as the best operating system ever.

The hamburger menu is not something "Android stuff" or "Apple stuff". This is a design standard that is fully utilized in many applications. There is one in Windows Central, just on the home page. Why? Because it is a good accomplishment of its mission. It hides important options that need to be quickly acquired but not always apparent. On mobile phones, they are often turned on by gestures, from left to right or from right to left. Simple and natural. Many people are familiar with it. Of course, I admit that there is no burger-style menu on Windows Phone 8, but the key is here. Windows 10 is not Windows 8, nor Windows Phone 8.

So maybe you really don't like the visual style of Windows 10, that's fine. Because there will be many people and more people like it, after all, you can't always satisfy everyone. Please don't stand still and embrace the changes that Windows 10 will bring to us. A unified platform across mobile phones, computers and game consoles, which has never happened before. The brave and bold part of Microsoft came to agree with the operating system of our device. This will be infinitely brilliant.

This is the position we should take so far. Joining the Windows Insiger program is not just about showing off or early adopting new things, we have responsibility! Through our feedback, Microsoft will shape the future of the platform. If you have something you don't like, you can ask it directly, through formal channels and provide support. Don't just hate it, please help improve.
