Microsoft recently pushed the first batch of security update patches for Windows 8 Developer Preview via Windows Update. These patches fix the Metro application. The text input problem of the third-party address input application when the program terminates; some patches (KB2616676) revoke the DigiNotar root certificate to prevent users from being attacked by hackers.

In addition, Microsoft has released a blue screen patch. When users install the Windows Phone 7.1 SDK candidate, Windows 8 may have a blue screen, but it can be solved after installing the patch. The update released by Microsoft applies to the Windows 8 Developer Preview version from 8102.101.winmain_win8m3.110830 to 8102.109.winmain_win8m3.110912.
