is available free of charge for Win7 users.

Microsoft has provided SP1 upgrade package (Windows 7 SP1 RTM Build 7601.17514.101119-1850) for all Windows 7 users. You can get it from Microsoft Download Center or Windows Update. Get a better upgrade experience, but in addition to these, Microsoft has provided other ways to upgrade Windows 7.

If for some reason you are unwilling or unable to get SP1 directly from the Internet, you can request a DVD containing Windows 7 SP1 from Microsoft. Microsoft said Windows 7 users in Asia, Europe, Africa, North America and South America can request SP1 DVDs from Microsoft.

Microsoft said that the easiest way to install the SP upgrade package is Windows Update. Windows 7 SP1 includes patches that were previously pushed through Windows Update, in addition to some Windows 7 value-added content. Although this SP1 DVD is free, you will need to pay the relevant shipping costs. In addition, each user can only request up to 3 SP1 DVDs. (Remind everyone, this DVD only contains SP1, and does not integrate Windows 7)
