How do newbies install a perfect system (1)

I believe that it is not difficult to install the system for those who are prawn-level people, but it is a non-stop "next step"! But for rookie-level characters may be a difficult thing.

Today, we will install windowsXP as an example, telling everyone about the experience of installing the system, I hope to help you.

Before installing the system:

First think about which disk to install the system on, and then organize the disk. The finishing work mentioned here is to save the useful files to another disk to prevent accidental deletion when formatting. Also, if your machine's hardware drive is not found, it is recommended to use the tool software to save the driver. Windows Optimizer can do this.

It should be noted that the things in "My Documents" are counted in the C drive, don't forget to save the files in it.

The path to favorites, etc. varies from system to system. Generally, under C:Documents and Settings, there is a folder named after your machine login name. When you open it, you will see the favorites and copy them to another disk.

After doing all of the above, you can basically start loading the system. Restart your computer and press the DEL key to enter the BIOS setup. Some people don't know when to press the DEL button here, then tell you a stupid way, just restart, just keep pressing. Also, because of the differences in motherboard manufacturers, the shortcut keys to enter the BIOS are also different. Some are F2, some are F10, and generally have a prompt at the low end of the screen when booting.

Don't change it after entering the BIOS, because the things inside are very important. If you make a mistake, you may not even get into the system. We only need to change the order of the drive when the computer starts.

It's hard to say how to find this, because the BIOS settings will vary from motherboard to motherboard. Generally, under the BOOT tab, it is ok to start the computer with an optical drive. When the BIOS is set, there will be related prompts on the right. The rookie can follow the prompts. Don't rush to restart after you have made it, put the installation disk into the CD-ROM drive, press F10 to save and restart.

At this time, pay attention to observation. When starting, the computer will detect the CD-ROM drive first. A line of characters appears below the screen, which means that you can press any key to enter the CD-ROM. Click and hear that the CD-ROM drive starts to go crazy, and the process of installing the system officially begins!

Install the system:

Look at the prompts on the screen, because they are all Chinese, so there is almost no need to introduce anything. First, the user needs to choose whether to install a new operating system or repair, choose to install a new operating system, and then press F8 to agree to those protocols, and the drive letter selection interface appears.

Use the keyboard up and down keys to move the cursor to the drive letter you want to install, press the “D” key, the system will prompt that deleting the disk will delete all the data, regardless of it, then press the “L” key. confirm delete. When finished, the screen returns to the previous interface. Then select "Install Windows XP on the current disk" and press Enter. The system prompts you to format the disk. Select "Fast NTFS mode" format, the format interface appears at this time, wait for the progress bar to 100% when the computer starts to automatically mount the installation file in the CD-ROM drive, about 8 minutes (depending on the drive speed), complete After the system automatically restarts.

Note that the installation disk in the CD-ROM drive should be taken out at this time, in order to avoid automatic reading after restarting (more computer, computer basics getting started learning, please go to http://www.pc6c. Com computer knowledge network).

After rebooting, enter the installation interface again. At this time, install the disk and put it in and install it. You don't need any settings. Click “Next”. However, there is a process of entering the serial number in the middle.

This process is about 40 minutes, during which the screen will display some information about WindowsXP related functions, you can pay attention to it. After the completion, the system prompts to remove the installation disk. After you take it out, restart it, and enter the BIOS to change the boot sequence back to the hard disk boot, basically complete the installation process!

After installing the system:

Generally, the drivers for common hardware are installed after entering the system, but not all. At this time, you need to install it yourself. First check which machines are not installed! Right click on "My Computer", select "Properties", and click "Device Manager" in the "Hardware" tab. Any question mark icon in front of the device indicates that there is a problem with the device. Double click and follow the prompts above to install the driver. Until the previous "question mark" disappears.

The drivers that need to be installed generally have graphics cards, sound cards, network cards, and cats. Some of the higher-level

machines also have drivers for infrared and Bluetooth.

Here are some optimization settings for the system. If your machine configuration is not high, it is recommended to do as I said.

1> Right click on the screen and select "Properties". Click the "Appearance" tab, select "Windows Classic Style" from the "Appearance and Buttons" drop-down menu, and then adjust the screen resolution uppercase according to your preference in the "Settings" tab, which is generally 1024*768. If you are using a normal CRT monitor, you need to click the "Monitor" tab and adjust the "screen refresh rate" to "85 Hz". Click OK! Does the screen look much more comfortable?

2> Right-click on the taskbar, select Properties, and select the checkbox next to Show Quick Launch in the Taskbar tab. Then click on the "Start Menu" tab, change the menu class to "Classic Start Menu", click "OK" to see if it is comfortable now?

3> Right Click My Computer, select the "Advanced" tab. Click the "Settings" button in the performance item. In the visual effects item, first click "Adjust to Best Performance", then select "In the folder" in the following options. Use common tasks in the middle. As shown below:

Do this step, then click the "Advanced" tab next to "Visual Effects" and click on "Virtual Memory". Set the button. In the open property box, first position the cursor on the C drive, click on the "no paging file" below, and then click on the D drive (which disk space on your machine is larger), in the custom size Enter the corresponding value, click the "Settings" button next to the point, and then click OK. As shown below:

The setting of virtual memory should be based on its own memory capacity! 1.5 times its own capacity!

4> Right Click on "My Computer" and select the "System Restore" tab. If you don't need it, select "Turn off System Restore on all drives".

5> At this point you will find the system tray at the bottom right corner of the screen. There is a "Shield" icon, which is the Windows XP Security Center. Double-click to open it, and when you don't have your own anti-virus software installed, turn "Firewall" and "Virus Protection" on. This will be relatively safe. Some!

6> After doing this, click “Start” and select “Windows Update”. At this time, open IE to connect to the windows upgrade website automatically, follow the above tips to upgrade, the steps are essential! You may need to restart your computer after the upgrade is complete.

7> Open any folder, click “Tools” from the menu bar, select “Folder Options”. Click “View” tab, “No” Remove the cached thumbnails, "Remember the view position of each folder", and "Show the prompt information when the mouse points to a folder or desktop item". "Apply to all folders", click OK!

8> Right click on IE, select "Properties", in the "General" tab, click "Use blank page", then click OK!< Br>

The last words

Here, our newbie system is basically finished, but I would like to remind you of some points:

1> Antivirus software must be installed, and often Update, regular anti-virus, don't think that it won't be poisoned if you don't mess up the website.

2> The system must be patched. Microsoft will release the patch every second week, and then you must follow the method mentioned above. Go to update.

3> Do not download the installation software indiscriminately. The download links provided by many informal websites may be virus-bound or bundled with a bunch of junk software. Please be sure to check the options when downloading, and remove the unneeded software before the hook.

4> Don't change your computer settings, don't arbitrarily delete your computer's files.
