Sharing the setting of the optical drive as the first method of starting

Now, although we don't use the optical drive, we may need to use the optical drive for a specific crowd or specific work, and the priority of the optical drive is higher. The CD-ROM drive is the first boot, how to set it up, in fact, you can set it through bios.

Press the “Del” key to enter the Bios setup menu (some press the F1 key). After entering, you will see the main menu. There may be some differences, but basically it is similar. If the names are different, but the effect is basically the same!

Select “AdvancedBios Features" (Advanced BIOS feature), usually in the third position on the left.

You can use the arrow keys to move the cursor, the Enter key to confirm, the ESC key to return, use the PageUp, PageDown and numeric keys to adjust the settings. In any setting menu, you can press the F10 key to exit and save the settings.

The related settings are as follows, please select ——

(1) First Boot Device

(2) Second Boot Device

(3) ) Third Boot Device

(4) Boot Other Device:

Select the first in the [First Boot Device], [Second Boot Device], and [Third Boot Device] projects. The second, third, and third sequential devices. The BIOS will start the operating system according to the boot device you selected, in order! The devices that can be selected depend on the device you have installed!

Move here (using the up and down keys) to select the cursor “First Boot Device”, press Enter, then move the cursor, select A (or "Floppy") to boot from the floppy disk; CDROM means boot from the CD-ROM; Hard Disk (or C) means boot from the hard disk. Press “Esc” when finished, until you return to the very first screen.

After completing the settings, be sure to remember —— select “Save & Exit Setup" (save and launch), load your CD, restart the computer

Does it feel very good? It's easy, setting up the CD-ROM as the first boot is not a special problem. Just be patient and take a look at the above method and do it step by step. It is not easy to make a problem. I hope it will be useful to everyone.
