Vista system enables hybrid sleep method

Hybrid Sleep in Windows Vista is a low-power sleep state that protects open programs and documents while the computer is sleeping.
"Sleep" saves any open documents and programs to memory and then puts the computer into a low-power state. However, if a power failure occurs, your work may only be lost if your work is only saved to memory.
"Hybrid Sleep" saves any open documents and programs to memory and hard drive, then puts the computer into a low-power state. The advantage of hybrid sleep is that Windows can resume work from the hard drive in the event of a power failure.
