Genuine Vista and XP different practical small functions

The Microsoft Vista operating system has been on the market for some time. Recently, I have just replaced the long-lost "Buckle" notebook, and I have a genuine Vista system, so I can't wait to use it at home. After a few days of application, I found some small and practical features that are different from the XP system. I will share with you here.
I. Listening to music only, removing other system noises
When we are chatting online while listening to music, we will suddenly pop up a "color ring" sound that the QQ message prompts our friends to go online. The system suddenly reports an error, the webpage Flash ad Sound, etc. These sounds seriously affect our mood to appreciate music. Vista's "Volume Mixer" provides us with a solution, a tool for setting the volume separately for different applications.
Open method: Click "Volume Mixer" at the bottom right of the screen, select "Synthesizer" on the pop-up interface, and a volume control interface for different applications will pop up (Figure 1). Here we mute the QQ, and system prompts, if you think they are whispered, just pull on the corresponding application volume control bar.

Second, comfortable office, font display is more pleasing to the eye
The price of LCD monitors continues to dive, let it replace the mainstream status of CRT. The 17-inch LCD monitor usually has a resolution of 1280×1024 and a dot pitch of 0.264 mm. When the 17-inch resolution was adjusted to the optimal resolution, we found that the image quality was fine, but the problem was that the font was too small. Vista provides us with a better solution - adjust the font size.
The method is as follows: right click on the desktop - personalization - "font adjustment (DPI)". In the pop-up interface (Figure 2), the default is 96DPI, we can choose 120DPI. If you feel that you can't meet your requirements, you can set it in the "Custom" at the bottom left.
For office users, it is often necessary to process a large amount of text information. If "cleartype" is turned on, it can have a better display effect.
The method is as follows: Right click "Personalization" - "Windows Color and Appearance", select "Effect" on the pop-up interface (Figure 2).

Third, the English master, let the system speak automatically
As we all know, to learn English well, listening is a factor that cannot be ignored, so there is a tape for reading the text or mp3 The audio format appears. Some texts do not provide these listening materials for practice. At this time, we can use Vista's reading function.
The method is as follows: Start Menu - Search for the border Enter "Easy Access Center", start "Easy Access Center", click "Start Narrator" will pop up a prompt box at the bottom right of the screen (Figure 3). Now you need to set it to read the language, and select "Sound Settings" in the prompt box (Figure 4). After setting, but we open the English document and press the shortcut key insert+F8, it will start reading aloud! FIG 3
