                  Many people complain that it is very troublesome to enter network connection management in Vista. Yes, it is very difficult for unfamiliar users to find it. network connection management

James Bannan found a very simple way to enter, can be a one-click. All you need to do is create a shortcut:

To create a new shortcut on the desktop, type:

explorer.exe ::{7007ACC7-3202-11D1-AAD2-00805FC1270E}

Note: There is a space after explorer.exe, it is recommended to copy-paste.

In the future, just double-click this shortcut to enter the network connection window.

above involves the following series of figures registry location:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT \\ CLSID \\ {7007ACC7-3202-11D1-AAD2-00805FC1270E}

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT \\ NetworkConnections \\ CLSID

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Classes\\CLSID\\{7007ACC7-3202-11D1-AAD2-00805FC1270E}

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Classes\\NetworkConnections\\CLSID

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\ Windows\\CurrentVersion\\Shell Extensions\\Approved

Need to explain: The shortcut icon created in this way is the same as the "computer". If you want to replace it, you can right click and go to "Properties", then change the icon and select one. The icon you want or navigate to "%SYSTEMROOT%\\System32\ etshell.dll" and find the icon that Vista has prepared for you.
