The secret of the hidden file function of the xp system itself

The extension of the file using the universal symbol is represented by the name. Hidden files use two main symbols "*" and "?" ( "*" for all symbols, "?" for single symbols), which you can use to represent any file. Many people don't know that Windows XP has the function of hiding files in addition to the commonly used operating system functions. Let's reveal this function together!
There are always some files in the hard disk. Feel free to let others see, using some professional encryption tools can of course achieve the effect of hidden files, but this must be installed on a third-party encryption tool, it seems a bit of a big problem. In fact, by taking advantage of the WinXP system's own functions, we can hide files with bare hands.
First trick: Command method
Step1: Press “Win R” key combination to open the "Run" dialog box, enter "ldd; cmd"; open a command prompt window. Then enter “md g:jm. & rdquo; And press the Enter key, create a new folder under the G drive called "ldm; jm." This folder is the folder we will use to store hidden files.
Step2: Enter the “Run” dialog again and enter the new encrypted folder “g:jm.” above. ”, this folder will be opened after hitting the Enter key. Next, just put the files you want to hide into this folder to complete the file hiding.
Now, anyone, including yourself, can't open the folder directly by double-clicking it to open it. Double-clicking will only get an error message box. When you want to open the folder, you can open it by entering the path to the folder in the Run & rdquo; dialog box. If you want to delete this folder, just delete all of its contents and go back to the command prompt window and run “rd g:jm. & rdquo;
Second trick: Parasitic method
If you have an important document that needs to be hidden, disguise it as a song that can be played by double-clicking, bypassing other people's sights and doubts, it's not good!
Step1: Create a new folder and copy the files that need to be hidden to this folder. Then find the song file and copy it to this folder.
Step2: Relocate to the above folder where the hidden files are stored in the Explorer, and rename them by the “F2” key. The named rule is: song name. {00020c01-0000-0000-c000-000000000046}, for example, "Auspicious Sambo." {00020c01-0000-0000- c000-000000000046}”. Right-click the mouse to refresh the current screen, the folder just automatically becomes the icon of a song, and double-clicking will automatically start the player to play it. And when you want to open the file yourself, just right click on the song icon and select the “open” command.
At the end, put this renamed folder in the song folder, no one is likely to find the file you want to hide, but you have to remember it yourself, to prevent time, even yourself Also forgot.
Small Tip: The above numbers and symbols need to be entered under the English input method, otherwise they will not succeed.
