Since Windows XP is intensifying the development of SP3 with a new kernel mode encryption module, the kernel driver and service can be more stable; more than 1000 patches have been fixed to make the system more secure. high. Many friends can't wait to install the beta version of SP3. But its size is not small, if reinstalling the system is very troublesome, in fact, we can fully integrate SP3 into the Windows XP installation CD, then we can do it in one installment, it is very convenient. Also, this method works well for integrating other patches on XP into the installation CD.

Step 1: Get SP3

Currently only the beta version of the SP3 package, we can find the SP3 BT seed at http://www.cpcw.com/bzsoft for download. After the download is complete, select the wb-xpsp3b3180.rar file in the installation folder, and extract the SP3 installation file windowsxp-kb936929-sp3-x86-enu.exe.

Step 2: Copy the Windows XP installation file

Insert the Windows XP installation CD into the CD-ROM drive and copy all the files on the installation CD to the E:\\winxpsp3 folder without removing the CD.

Step 3: Make the Windows XP installation CD into an image file

Run WinISO, click "Operation → Make ISO file from CDROM", select the ASPI button, and save the output to E: \\winxpsp3\\winxpsp2.ISO (Figure 1), press the "Make" button to make the Windows XP CD into an ISO image file.

Step 4: Integrating SP3 into a Windows XP installation file

Copying the windowsxp-kb936929-sp3-x86-enu.exe file to E: \\下, then write a batch file intsp3.bat under it:

"windowsxp-kb936929-sp3-x86-enu.exe" -s:"E:\\winxpsp3"

Double-click this bat file, and the decompression window shown in Figure 2 will appear. After the integration is successful, a success prompt will pop up.
