How to make Windows XP compatible with 16-bit DOS programs

Although Windows XP provides a compatibility wizard to run the old programs, it is not easy to use. For example, Turbo C, which is still used in many schools, often runs in XP. At this point, we can use the start command to solve.

In the Windows\\command folder of the Windows installation directory, there is a DOS program start.exe, which is a tool for calling DOS programs under Windows state, which can be used directly at the DOS prompt. By using discovery, clever application of it can greatly facilitate our daily work.

The format of the command is: Start/seperate e:\\tc\\tc.exe.

<;seperate" The parameter refers to opening a separate space in memory to run a 16-bit program, and a parameter "shared" is to start a 16-bit program in the shared memory space.
