Method 1: Group Policy

1. Set Windows File Protection Scan

This policy is used to set whether to enable Windows File Protection. Double-click the mouse to open the policy. By default, the file protection function is not enabled. Click the “Enable” option. If you want to scan the system every time, select “"Scan frequency” drop-down list box to select “ Scan during startup, if you only want to scan when installing files, select the option “Do not scan during startup”.

2, hidden file scanning progress window

When this setting is enabled, the scanning progress window will not be displayed during Windows file protection scanning. Open the policy and select “巳Enable”, click the “OK” button.

3, limit the size of the Windows file protection cache

The file protection function will back up a large number of protected files to the dllcache directory, but as the system installs more and more software, you will find The size of the dllcache directory is constantly increasing, wasting a lot of hard disk space. This strategy is used to limit the size of the dllcache directory. In the "Restrict Windows File Protection Cache Size" dialog box, click the “巳Enable” option, and then specify “buffer size", if we want to limit the dllcache directory to a maximum of 300MB, enter it in the input field. “300”Yes, finally click the “OK” button.

4, specify the Windows file protection cache location

The default location of the dllcache directory is in "%SYSTEMROOT%system32dllcache", but many friends do not want to waste system disk space, then you can use this strategy to re Specify the location of the cache file, open the policy, select “巳Enable”, then enter a new location in the "Cache File Path" input box, such as “D?BAK”, and finally click “OK” Button.
