Solve the strange phenomenon of Windows XP installation ACDSee6.0

When we install ACDSee 6.0 under Windows XP, there will be some strange phenomenon: If you have installed ACDSee 5.0 version before, then you may not be able to browse JPG when you open ACDSee 6.0. Some of the most common image formats like GIF. Even if you open "File Association" in "Tools" in the "File" menu and re-set it, ACDSee 6.0 will give you a prompt such as "Plugin is not loaded" when browsing images in these formats. At this point, uninstalling ACDSee 5.0 and 6.0 and then reinstalling ACDSee 6.0 will not solve the problem. The correct solution is:

First uninstall ACDSee 5.0, 6.0, delete all ACDSee folders on the hard disk (including Program Files\\ACD Systems, Program Files\\Common Files\\ACD Systems, Documents and Settings\\All Users\\Application Data) \\ACD Systems and Documents and Settings\\***\\Application Data\\ACD Systems, where *** is your login username). Then, run the Registry Editor to search for "ACD Systems" and delete all the found key values; then search for ACDSee and delete all of these key values. Finally open "My Computer → Tools → Folder Options", click the "File Types" tab, delete the association of JPG, GIF and other image formats.

Now, you can reinstall ACDSee 6.0. After the installation is complete, you can view the pictures and everything is fine.
