Remove the useless item

in "Custom Notification" In Windows XP, right click on the taskbar, select "Properties", click the "Customize" button in the "Notification Area" in the window that opens, or right click In the system tray area, select Custom Notifications to open the Custom Notifications window. The active and urgent notification icons are displayed in the "Current Projects" area, while the "Past Items" lists inactive icons, many of which are unwanted programs that we have already deleted. The following methods can remove these useless items from the "custom notifications".

Click "Start → Run" to enter Regedit, open the Registry Editor, navigate to the HKEY_CURRENT_ USER\\Software\\Microsoft\\Windows\\CurrentVersion\\Explorer\\TrayNotify branch, delete the IconStreams and PastIconStreams in the right window, and restart Start the machine to remove the useless items in the Custom Notifications.
