Enter the Windows XP system blue screen prompt "stop: 0X0000007B" to solve

The computer uses SATA hard disk, the correct information of the hard disk can be detected in the motherboard BIOS, but after entering the Windows XP system, a blue screen prompt will appear "stop: 0X0000007B"; What is the problem caused by this? How to solve it?

This is caused by the user opening AHCI mode. The default setting of the SATA Mode option in many motherboard BIOSes is IDE mode, and the XP system does not With the AHCI driver, if you install the Windows XP operating system in this mode, if you change the SATA Mode from IDE to AHCI mode directly in the BIOS, the blue screen will appear when XP is started because there is no preloaded SATA AHCI Controller driver.

If the user does not need AHCI mode, just change the SATA Mode to IDE mode. How to operate: Restart the computer, press F2 to enter the BIOS, and set the SATA Mode to IDE Mode. Once the setup is complete, you can enter the system normally.

If you want to enable AHCI, you can install the AHCI driver when you enter the Windows XP operating system. Method: Enter the Windows XP operating system, download the latest AHCI driver and install it according to the motherboard chipset. After installing the driver, , restart the computer, re-enter the motherboard BIOS settings, set the hard disk working mode to "AHCI" mode, restart the computer, the problem is solved.
