Xp system account security problem

Windows XP account problem

Q: There is a step in installing Windows XP to create a new user, otherwise the installer will not continue. However, I want to log in to the system directly with the Administrator account. What should I do? If I have to create a new account, can I still log in to the system automatically with the Administrator account?

A: Windows XP does not recommend users to use the Administrator account for daily operations. If you do not want to create a new account when you install the system, only press the Reset button to restart the computer in this step (does not affect the system too much). ). If you feel that this method is too "barbaric", you can also use the automatic installation answer file to install the system. However, it is complicated to implement and this method is not recommended. If you want to automatically log in to the system using the Administrator account after creating another account, you can run "control userpasswords2", and in the subsequent pop-up window, select the option "To use this machine, the user must enter the username and password", and then pop up Enter the Administrator account and password in the "Auto Login" dialog box, and click "OK".

Security Issues for the Administrator Account

Q: My system is Windows XP SP2. I used to log in using the built-in Administrator account. I heard that this is easy to attack the system. Is this true? Later, I created a new administrator account. There is no Administrator account on the login interface. The original file on the desktop cannot be seen. Is there any way to log in or view the original desktop file with the built-in account?

A: As long as you set a strong password for the Administrator account, it will not bring too much security risks. When you create an account for another administrator group in Windows XP, the system's built-in Administrator account will disappear from the welcome screen. If you only use the account once in a while, you can press the "Ctrl+Alt+Del" key combination twice on the welcome screen. The system will open the login dialog box and enter the Administrator account and password to log in.
