How to uninstall WindowsXP

Phenomenon: The operating system I used was Windows98. I recently heard that Windows XP is very good and installed the system. The first installation was installed from Windows98. After installing it, it didn't feel very good. After formatting the WindowsXP partition, it was reinstalled from DOS to D drive. After installation, I found that there are three multi-boot menus (the first time Windows XP is installed) One is still), how can I delete the extra one? In addition, if I want to delete WindowsXP, in addition to formatting the D drive, how can I completely delete it?

The boot menu of the Windows 98 and Windows XP dual system is controlled by a file in the root directory of the C drive. The boot menu can be changed by modifying the file. To delete the extra Windows XP project, you can open the boot.ini file in the root directory of the C drive. There are two lines of duplicate "multi(0)...", delete one of them. In order to completely remove Windows XP, in addition to formatting its partition, you must also delete the multiple boot menu and redundant system files as follows:

(1) Make a Windows98 boot disk and The sys.com file under Windows 98 is copied into the system disk.

(2) Start with the boot disk and execute the sysC: command under A:>.

(3) Delete the extra files in the root directory of the C drive. These files include: boot.ini, bootfont.bin, bootsect.dos, ntdetect.com, pagefile.sys, etc.
