Alternative tips for system notebooks

"Notepad" can be said to be the most basic and simple interface text editing software in Windows system. And "Notepad" starts faster, so I use it to edit or save articles copied from the Internet. And I have always set the text font in "Notepad" to "楷", the size is "four" or a larger font size. Because the size of this font is "four" or larger, it looks beautiful and smooth. Recently, the author discovered two small secrets in "Notepad": 1. Once, I made the same setting for "Notepad" in another computer, but the font is still so rough. It took half a day to discover the secret and found a solution: first click the right mouse button on the blank space of the desktop and select "Properties". Then select "Effects" in the pop-up dialog box. Then select "Round screen font corner (S)" in the "Effect" box. 2. After I saved an article with a traditional Chinese character to a "Notepad" on a forum, I opened it and found that each traditional Chinese character became a space. Only the simplified characters can be displayed normally. Later, I learned that this is because the "squat" in the font does not support traditional characters. So just change the font in "Notepad" from "楷" to "宋". The default font for "Notepad" is "Fixedsys, regular, small four (WindowsXP is small five)", we can use the menu option "Format → Font" (WindowsXP) or "Edit → Set Font" (Windows98) ) to modify the font, font size. Use "Notepad" and the following "secrets": Right-click to open Notepad. After installing ACDSee, WinZip and other software, its program items will appear in the system's right-click menu to facilitate the user to call the program. We can also put Notepad into the right-click menu, just right click on the file and select "Notepad", you can quickly call Notepad to open the file. To add a "Notepad" project to the context menu, do the following: Run the registry editor Regedit. Exe, open the subkey, create a new "Notepad" primary key under "shell", create a new "COMMAND" primary key under "Notepad", select "COMMAND", double click "Default" in the right window, pop up Enter "notepad.exe %1" in the "Key Value" text box of the dialog box and finally close the Registry Editor. Open Notepad with one click. "One-touch dialing", "one-click login to the website", "one-click open" have been popular for a while, we can also set the "one-click open" function for the Notepad program. To do this, click [Start] → [Programs] → [Accessories], right click on "Notepad", [Properties] → [Shortcut], specify the shortcut key in "Shortcut Key", press [OK] Yes (a little hint: you can only set "One Click to Open" for shortcuts on the desktop or in the Start menu). Send the file to Notepad. Put the Notepad in the “Send To” menu, so that the user can quickly click on the Notepad program to open the file by right clicking on a file and then selecting [Send To] → [Notepad] (of course, there is a premise that This file can be opened by Notepad). To add the Notepad program in the "Send To" menu of Windows 98, open the C:\\Windows\\Sendto folder in "My Computer" and click [File] → [New] → [Shortcut]. Enter "Notepad" in the "Command Line" text box, then click [Next] and [Finish]. The method is similar under Windows 200/XP, except that the location of the "Sendto" folder is slightly different. You should select the "Sendto" folder under your user properties. Add a log to the Notepad file. Notepad can automatically add a time log to the document, but many people don't understand this feature, although its usage is written in the "help" of Notepad. The specific method is: at the beginning of the text file, that is, the leftmost input content of the first line ".LOG" (do not enter quotes, note that the dot must be a half-width symbol, the English alphabet is uppercase), after saving the document, Each time you open the file with Notepad, the current time and date are automatically written to the end of the document. (W)
