IIS MIME Settings

Windows 2000, you need to add an application extension mapping in IIS. The executable is at: C:\\WINDOWS\\system32\\inetsrv\\ssinc.dll . The extension is: shtml/shtm Open IIS Manager, open “local computer” attribute ——"MIME type——"New suffix: .shtml MIME type: text/html suffix name: .shtm Mime type: text/html and click OK. Find the Web service extension (under IIS, parallel to the website) and enable the "Include files on the server" extension. (You must restart IIS, otherwise you will not be able to access it!) In the definition of IIS, .shtml is a kind of SSI component, you must enable this. Then you install the program that parses the .shtml correctly, and it's OK.
