IBM HTTP Server server installation complete diagram

Everyone knows that IBM WebSphere Application Server is the Internet's infrastructure software that enables organizations to develop, deploy, and integrate next-generation e-business applications and support commercial applications ranging from simple Web publishing to enterprise-level transaction processing.

IBM WebSphere Application Server is also an integral part of the IBM WebSphere software platform, which is a collection of a broad portfolio of integrated e-business solutions, including the IBM HTTP Server.

The Apache-based IBM HTTP Server is a web server based on the Apache Web server developed by the Apache Group. The IBM HTTP Server includes features that are not available on the Apache Web server developed by the Apache Group. IBM Http Server extends the capabilities of Apache to use the IBM Fast Response Cache Accelerator.

The Cache Accelerator is a small kernel HTTP GET engine and HTTP content cache that makes static web pages for services significantly faster than Apache Web servers without cache accelerators; default Under Enable Cache Accelerator, you can use the configuration file directive to completely disable the Cache Accelerator.

IBM WebSphere Application Server provides SSL security support for Apache-based HTTP services for secure e-commerce transactions; SSL support provides encryption levels (up to 128 bits for information encryption) is now a fortune Used by top 500 companies, including major financial institutions, to transmit financial transactions and other sensitive data on the Web.

Then there is a choice of installation type. There are three installation types: “Typical” means that the installation program will be installed according to the actual configuration. The system recommends that most users choose this type; "Custom" means that the installer will install the features we choose. The system recommends that advanced users use this type; "developer installation (non-admin)" means that this installation type only contains the basic requirements for running IBM HTTP Server (IHS), installation No administrative privileges are required; here we choose the "typical" installation (Figure 6).

There are some installation options in Figure 7, which are installed here as Windows services to run IBM HTTP Server and IBM HTTP Management to specify Log in as the administrator user account, enter the administrator's username and password; select "Automatic" mode in the startup type.

When you install the Administration Server, authentication for directories containing all configuration forms is enabled. After installation, if the user ID and password are not provided, the Administration Server will not serve the page. This way, after the successful installation of IBM HTTP Server and Administration Server, the configuration files that protect the IBM HTTP Server are not directly accessed by unauthorized users.

On Windows systems, this default file contains the user ID and password that the user entered during the installation process. Identify the user ID and password in the Administration Server password filter and access the IBM HTTP Server configuration page through the Administration Server.

The next step is to show that IHS 6.0 is installed in the C:\\Program Files\\IBM HTTP Server directory. The selected components have basic HTTP Server and security. Install to C: The total file size is 97MB. 8 is shown.
