How can we let others not find our files

If the file is placed in the system directory or hidden in a deeper path, it is not necessarily safe. Now the search tools and technologies are so developed. If someone searches by keyword, the file will appear in the original shape, so it is difficult to do it. “Hidden and not exposed”. So, how can we make someone else unable to find our documents? Preventing type search Personal documents are generally common types of files such as TXT or DOC. If you use the system's search function or use search software to search by file type, then a certain type of file in the entire computer will be clear at a glance. Figure 1: Searching for files by class, at a glance In order to prevent others from searching for our files by category, we can do something on the file type and disguise our own documents as a system-specific file type (such as DLL files). You can prevent others from searching for files by type. For example, WPS has written a document "Personal Plan.DOC", if you are worried that others can see the contents of the file, we can change the file name to GRJH.DLL, and then save this file in the System32 folder of the system, so that It is very difficult for others to obtain this document using the file category. Tip: When we need to read or edit this WPS document, just open the WPS text editor and drag the GRJH.DLL file to the WPS editing window to open the edit or read. Preventing full-text search In addition to searching for files by file type, others may also search for file content. In this way, documents with specified information can be easily searched by a given keyword. Figure 2: Searching for file content regardless of file name To prevent documents from being searched by full-text search by keyword, we can encrypt or transcode the content of the document. For example, editing a TXT document containing confidential content, we can implement anti-search encryption processing on the document in several ways. One method is to use the encryption software to encode and convert the file. The file name after encryption is unchanged, and it is still the TXT file type. After the double-click is opened, the file is displayed as garbled, and the content is not judged at all. When you want to use it, you only need to use the same encryption software for decryption.
