12 PS Tips

Want to create your own brush effect? Is it too much trouble to drag and drop new layers? Want to use PS to repair video? There are a lot of details in PS that we don't usually notice. Let's get to know them together: 1. Is the layer empty? When you're dealing with multiple layer files, it's easy to stack layers as high as mountains. Maybe you are a careless designer, so you never bother to change the name of the layer. Ok, let's say you want to deal with the layers of mountains and delete those blank layers. Wait, are those empty layers really empty? Here is a little trick, hold down the Ctrl key and click on the layer thumbnail, if you see “warning: no pixels are selected & rdquo;, ok, That layer is empty. If you want to delete the empty layer directly at once, select “File>Script> Delete all empty layers”. 2. Sampling Tips If you're dealing with a high-resolution image with variegated colors, it's hard to pick the color you want, and you'll find that you've accidentally selected the variegated color. The correct way to do this is to change the size of the sample range. Use the average sample. When you select the pipette tool, you will see the sample size on the options bar and choose a larger range to mask the noise. 3. Lock your brush settings Not many people know the function of this stick. When you use a brush, you can open the brush panel. When you select a new brush, all parameters will be adjusted to the brush's setting parameters. If you click on the small lock icon on the right, the parameters will be locked, which is really useful. When you unlock, the brush will immediately jump back to the default parameters. To restore all parameter settings, you can click the drop-down menu in the upper right corner to cancel the parameter locking for all options. 4. Basic color layers Many times, you need to create a solid color layer to add some effects. You may use lens flares or mottled to create impurities, non-destructive deepening or dimming, or any effect that requires black, white, and gray solid layers. Usually when you create this type of layer, you need to adjust the blending mode of such layers to "mix" to remove the display of the underlying color and leave only the layer effect. You can create a layer ——fill color ——add effect —— modify the blend mode. You can also do the following: When you click the button of the new layer at the bottom of the panel, hold down the Alt key and select the blend mode from the drop-down menu. You can also see the check box below and check it. It's easy to create new layers. 5. Feel free to drag your lens flares to the lens flares. Do you know that you can add lens flares in the middle of the image? In fact, you can add flares anywhere in the layer. When you select “Filter ——Lens flares” you will see such a preview, you can directly adjust the position of the flare directly in the preview. 6. Smooth lines Sometimes when you drag a pixel of a line into Photoshop, you will find that they have sharp edges, which is really hard to see, but we have a way to fix them. Use “Filter ——blur —— Gaussian Blur (2 to 6 pixels)”. Press Ctrl + L again to add the threshold adjustment layer and drag the black and white sliders to the middle position, so you will find the curve softened. 7. Create a new layer below your current layer. Usually when you create a new layer, the new layer will appear above the current layer. What do you do if you want to create a layer below the current layer? Hold down the Ctrl key and click the New Layer button below the Layers panel. 8. Backing up a layer directly in your document There are many ways to duplicate a layer. For example, you can drag a layer over the letter layer button to do it, or press Ctrl + J. But how do you move them while backing up the layers? Press the Alt key while dragging the layer to back up the layers to the desired layer order. 9. Converting a selection I know that you already know how to move it while creating a selection, press the spacebar while drawing, or press Shift to select the same width and width, or press the Alt key to zoom Point to move to the middle of the selection, there is another trick for the selection operation: After the selection is completed, select “ select ——convert the selection", then you can use the free movement tool to operate the selection. Right click to see all the options. 10. From layer to file, it's cumbersome to merge all the images from one file to the same layer. It is more troublesome to save different layers as different files. The good news is that you can let Photoshop do the work automatically. For the former, select “file——script——load file”, select your file, click OK, they will be loaded onto a layer. For the latter, select “file——script——export layer to file", you can also choose “file——script——image processing” for more options Adjustment. 11. Where is the light source effect filter? You may be wondering where the light source filter effect went? You may know that with “filter ——lens ——light effect”, the good news is: in CS5 (I think the most stable version) You can also find it; the bad news is that it will only appear in 32bit mode (this will also make some of your old plugins work). 12. Video Filter Photoshop Extended Edition (Extended) has the ability to process video. Most of the effects you can apply on the image can be applied to the video. Perhaps you have tried such filters, but found that their effects appear on a single frame. The secret is that you can turn your video into a smart object. Once converted to a smart object, the filter effect will be effective for the entire video. This article comes from [System Home] www.xp85.com
