Disk space is easy to get

Sometimes you may need to adjust the size of each disk of the computer in the case of lossless data, but many software can not adjust the space of the C drive. The following system home Xiaobian will introduce you how to freely change the disk size. Colleague Xiao Wang's computer hard drive is divided into 4 partitions, namely C, D, E, F. The C drive (29.3GB) mainly installs the operating system and some applications. The D drive (114.75GB) stores some of the film and television works and MP3s that he collects daily. The E drive (114.74GB) stores some live photos and personal data. The F disk (206.96GB) stores the system backup and common software backup. Since he installed the application, the default installation directory is generally selected, resulting in a lack of space on the C drive, and the D drive space has a few hundred MB left. Therefore, he wants to adjust some space on the F disk to the C and D disks. Xiao Wang thought of the famous partition magic software. Just do it, download, install, run, adjust. No, the partition magician can also resize the space of other discs, but the adjustment of the size of the C disc can do nothing. So how can we divide the extra space into C and D disks without damaging the F disk data? Complete the expansion partition selection in one step First, download, install and run a "Partition Assistant" software from http://www.xp85.com/html/PA.html. I want to adjust the 20GB of the F drive to the C drive. The normal steps are 2 steps: one is to separate the 20GB of the F drive, and the other is to merge the separated space into the C drive. But the partitioning assistant integrates this process into one step to do the above. Through the main interface of the partition assistant, you can see at a glance that the C drive has 29.3GB, and the F drive has 181GB of free space. Now all you have to do is transfer the 20GB of the F drive to the C drive. If you want to move the F disk 20GB free space to the C drive, and the data on the F drive and the C drive are not damaged, just click the “Extension Partition Wizard” button on the left side of the partition assistant. This is the most critical step. & ldquo; Expand the choice & rdquo; There are two, respectively, "Extended system partitions" and "Select the partition you want to expand". Here I choose the second item, then select partition C, in fact, directly select the extended system partition (Figure 1). Then, click the “Next” button. Because I want to divide some free areas of the specified partition to the C drive, do not check the "Automatic mode of extended partition" in the pop-up window. The partition assistant first asks which partition you want to expand, and then asks which partition you want to use. Instead of asking you first to cut off the remaining space of which partition. Of course, it is to choose the F disk with 181GB unused space, and then click “Next” (Figure 2). Arbitrarily adjust the disk space size Next, enter the size of the C drive partition in the window, the original C drive is 29.3GB, add 20GB to it, it will become 49.3GB, of course, you can also enter 50GB. This is also a more user-friendly part of the partition assistant, that is, let you arbitrarily set the size of the C drive, as long as there is enough space on the F drive (Figure 3). Continue to click the “Next” button. At this point, the operations to be done have basically been fixed. Finally, you only need to press the “Execute” button, all operations are fully automated, and the user just has to wait patiently. After waiting for a while, see if your C drive space has increased? If you feel that the non-destructive partition is not perfect, the space of the C drive needs to be re-adjusted, then this step is the last regret (Figure 4). The operation of dividing the excess space of the F disk to the D disk is similar to the above steps. Tip: No partitioning software can guarantee 100% secure non-destructive partitioning, because the risks of various kinds of accidents will always exist. Unsuccessful partitioning results in hard disk data destruction is not without precedent, so the premise of lossless partition, it is best to back up the important data on the original hard disk.
