VMWare Virtual Machine Network Setup Tips

1. In general, in most cases, there is no need to change the VMWare virtual machine's network settings. In the case of setting to Bridge Mode, there are two situations that may be used: when there are more than one network card, or there are other VM software, such as: Oracle Virtual Box. Since VMWare default Bridge to is set to Automatic, when encountering the above situation, we can slightly modify the Virtual Network settings, please execute [Edit] > [Virtual Network Editor...]; VMnet0 is the default Bridge network interface. Press the [Bridge to:] drop-down menu to specify the default physical network card to be connected. If you want VM to Bridge a network card, the fastest way is to [Bridge to :] Set to the desired network card. In addition, if the network card specified by Autmatic is not what we want, you can use this method to force VM Bridge to a specific network card. 3. You can also press [Automatic Setting] to check Automatic. Only the selected network card; 4. Everyone should have an idea. If the VM is to be connected to a network segment of multiple physical networks, how many physical network cards are there on the computer. At this point, I can create a new Bridge VMnet, and VMWare Workstation provides 7 custom VMnets. One thing to pay special attention to is: there are at least two network cards on the machine, then set [Bridge to:] to a physical network card in step 2; 5. Press [Add Network...] to specify the settings. VMnet; 6. After specifying the [Bridge to:] network card for the new VMnet, press the [OK] button; 7. Finally, add the set VMnet to the VM and you're done ^^ ~
