Uninstalling a "stubborn" program

In general, programs installed in Windows will generate a "dismount" shortcut in the Start menu and leave a security delete message in the system's "Add/Remove Programs" so that it will not be needed when needed. It is uninstalled. However, for various reasons, there are always some programs that do not have an uninstaller after installation, and they cannot be found in the "Add/Remove Programs".

In this case, if the software is "green software" and does not write files to the system directory, it is fine. Just delete the folder where the program is located and everything will be fine. But if it is not green software, it will not be easy to do. If it is forcibly deleted, it will cause a lot of junk files to stay in the system folder and the registry, which will greatly reduce the system performance.

After the author's exploration, I found a new way to safely uninstall.
First run the Registry Editor (Enter "Regedit" in "Start → Run" and press Enter), then open HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\Software\\Microsoft\\Windows\\CurrentVersion\\Uninstall, where you can find the software you want to uninstall. Project (Note: Some programs not shown in "Control Panel → Add Remove Program" can also be found here), find the UninstallString (or QuietUninstallString) key name in its directory, double-click it, copy all the "key value" Content, exit the Registry Editor.

Then open the "Start" menu, click "Run", paste the contents you just copied to the command line, click "OK"... Well, the "stubborn" program will be safely uninstalled It is.

For example, Microsoft Pinyin Input Method 2.0, when you uninstall it, you will find it in the "Control Panel → Add /Remove Programs", what should I do? By copying its UninstallString key value "C:\\Windows\\System\\Pintsetp.exe /Remove", you can call up its uninstaller.
