Some Tips in MathType

Some Common Shortcuts
Mastering some shortcuts is very helpful for improving productivity. Here are some of the shortcuts I have summarized (the functions implemented in parentheses).

1. Zoom in or out
Ctrl+1 (100%); Ctrl+2 (200%); Ctrl+4 (400%); Ctrl+8 (800%).

2. Insert some symbols into the math formula
Ctrl+9 or Ctrl+0 (parentheses); Ctrl+[ or Ctrl+] (brackets); Ctrl+{ or Ctrl+} (braces); Ctrl+F (fractions); Ctrl+/(slash bar); Ctrl+H(superscript); Ctrl+L(subscript); Ctrl+I (integral number); Ctrl+R (root); Ctrl+Shift+hyphen (upper horizontal line) ; Ctrl+Alt+hyphen (vector arrow); Ctrl+Alt+'(single 撇); Ctrl+Alt+"(double 撇); first press Ctrl+T to release, then press N (n times root) , S (summing symbol), P (product symbol), and so on.

3. Nudge Interval
First select the formula to be moved (the selection method is to use "Shift + arrow keys"), and then use the "Ctrl + arrow keys" to operate the upper, lower, left and right panning; use "Ctrl+ The Alt+Spaces button adds spaces as appropriate.

4. Jump between elements
After each step is completed, go to the next step (such as inputting the numerator to the input of the denominator, etc.), use the Tab key, and use the Enter key for line feed.

Adding Common Formulas
A major feature of MathType is that you can add or delete some common formulas by yourself. Add the formula we want to add first, then select the formula and drag with the left mouse button. Go to the appropriate location in the toolbar. The way to delete is to right click on the tool icon and select the "delete" command.
