Let the "illegal" prompt become legal. Print

I used Windows 98 system and customized some papers in Word 2000/XP (eg 26cm×36.8cm). After upgrading Windows 98 to Windows XP recently, the problem has arisen. On the original Windows 98 system, the customized paper in Word 2000/XP does display an "illegal" prompt when printing on Windows XP. The content is "1st. The margin of the section is set outside the printable area. Do you want to continue?" If you click the "Yes" button, the printed content will exceed the edge of the defined paper, and it will not print properly. I can't understand it. After a period of exploration, I finally found a way to solve the problem, as follows:

Click "Start" to select the "Printers and Faxes" command, right click in the "Printers and Faxes" dialog box, select " Server Properties command, first select the "Create new format" check box on the "Format" tab in the dialog box, and then enter the name of the custom paper (such as 260 × 368) in the "Form Name", "Format Description "Select "Metric" or "Inch", enter the actual paper size in the "Width" and "Height" of the paper, and keep the default for the "Printer Area Margin". Finally, don't forget Click the "Save Format" button.

Through the above operation, my previously customized paper has no "illegal" prompts in Word 2000/XP printing, and it has become legal printing and normal printing.

Note: Not only Word 2000/XP, Excel 2000/XP, PowerPint 2000/XP also have their own defined paper format. Multiple papers can be defined in the Print Server Properties to suit different printing needs. The method defined in Windows 2000 is basically the same as that in Windows XP. The readers can try to operate it.
