Restore accidentally deleted files as long as three steps

Inadvertently deleting files is a common problem for computer gamers. If you just deleted a file, here is a trick to teach you, that is, press Ctrl+Z to undo the deletion and the file will be back. But what if you delete a lot of files or delete them a few days ago? We have also introduced some data recovery software before, but the Handy Recovery introduced today is not only small in size, completely free, but also easy to operate and quick to recover.

Handy Recovery supports FAT12/16/32 and NTFS file systems, which are quite simple to use and can quickly restore accidentally deleted files in just three steps.

Selecting a disk or analyzing it
There is a disk list box in the upper left corner of the program window. Press the drop-down arrow button on the right side of it to display all disk partitions in the current system. Select Delete File. The partition, then press the "Analyze" button above, the software will analyze the partition to find the most recently deleted file (see Figure 1). From the actual use effect, Handy Recovery is much faster than other similar software.

Finding the file to be restored
After the Handy Recovery analysis is completed, find and click the folder where the file was not deleted before the file is deleted. Shows that the folder has been deleted (a red cross will appear on the previous file icon) or a file that has not been deleted.
If there are a large number of deleted and undelete files in the folder, for the sake of viewing, you can press the "Filter" button, so that only the deleted files are displayed.

Restore file
Select the file to be restored, then press the “Recover” button, this will pop up the recovery window (see Figure 2), after the “Output”, enter the recovery The location where the file is to be saved (you can press the "Browser" button to locate the folder). It is highly recommended not to select the same partition as the deleted file. There are also two options: "Restore folder structure" (recovery folder structure, will automatically bring the original folder structure after recovery, generally not recommended), Recover alternative data streams (recoverable data stream), Mainly used to restore files with additional information in the NTFS file system (such as user comments, etc.).

After completing the settings, press the "OK" button and the file will be restored soon. Sometimes the dialog box for renaming may pop up during the recovery.
According to the comparison test, we found that Handy Recovery recovers much faster than some other similar software.
