iTunes file sharing method

  

With the file sharing feature in iTunes 9.1 or higher (recommended to use iTunes 10 or higher), you can send files created by Keynote, Pages and Numbers on your iPad to your computer. You can also use the opposite method to send files from your computer to your iPad for use with the iWork application. For example, if you launch a Pages document on your iPad, you can easily send it to your Mac and edit it in Pages & rsquo;09 before sending it back to the iPad.

Step Method

1. Connect the iPad to your computer using the supplied dock connector to the USB cable.

2. Open iTunes on your computer.

3. Select your iPad from the <quo;Devices section on the left side of iTunes.

4, click & ldquo; application & rdquo; tab and scroll down to the bottom of the page.

Note: If you don't see the "File Sharing" section shown below, it means that your iPad does not have any applications that support file sharing, such as the iWork (iPad version) application.

5, in & ldquo; file sharing & rdquo; the next section, you can find the current installed on the iPad and using file-sharing applications list of features, such as Keynote, Pages and Numbers (iPad version). Select an app to view a list of files associated with the app on your iPad.

6, you can drag and drop files to & ldquo; document & rdquo; the list to send them to the application on the iPad. You can also tap the “Add” button to find the file you want to send from your computer, then tap “Select”. The file you choose will be instantly copied to the app on your iPad. 7, copy files from iTunes to iPad, open Keynote, Pages, or Numbers on your iPad.

8, navigate to & ldquo; Presentation Manager & rdquo; screen:

Tap left side of the second button, and then tap & ldquo; copied from iTunes & rdquo;:

opens with & ldquo; & rdquo copy from iTunes; window:

You use the file sharing feature to copy any iPad compatible files will be listed in the & ldquo; & rdquo copy from iTunes ; in the window. If a file is not listed, verify that its file type is compatible with the iWork application.
