Xiaobian recently upgraded 160WiFi and found that many users have "please manually set sharing or retry" prompts. Find the reason, it should be 160wifi upgrade caused some users to report errors on some PCIe or USB wireless network cards. If your 160WiFi encounters such problems after the upgrade, you can refer to the following methods to solve.

Solution

First of all, make sure that your computer's wireless network card hardware switch is turned on, download the latest version of 160wifi.

The open button of the notebook is usually on the front or side of the notebook keyboard. It can also be turned on with the shortcut key FN+Fm (m means 1 to 12).

Secondly, it is determined that the ICS (Internet Connection Sharing) service is enabled. When the WiFi is turned on, the function of the service will be pulled up. If the pull fails, your computer cannot use WiFi sharing. Enter the :services.msc command in the run to open the ICS service and see if it is turned on.

Third, reinstall the wireless network card driver in the network adapter.

Finally, if the above three steps have been completed or can not open 160WiFi, then try the following methods:

1, set your wireless share name and password on 160WiFi, click “Open”, the error message mentioned above will appear. Keep 160WiFi on.

2. Open “Control Panel\\Network and Internet\\Network Connections, as shown below.


At this time, "Wireless Network Connection" & mdash;— Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport should be "identifying..."

If it is ADSL Users, please find "Broadband Connection" & mdash;—WAN Miniport(PPPOE)
