Temporary file or its disk is not writable, Thunder download failure solution

Symptom description: During the process of downloading files with Thunder, the lower right corner prompts “Download failed, the temporary file or its disk is not writable”, the file download fails, the temporary file or the disk it is not written to and the solution:

The first one:

BT download or large file download, try different versions of Thunder, this problem will occur; may be caused by the installation of Thunder disk drive disk space is insufficient, here The drive letter is not the drive letter of the downloaded file, but the drive letter of the Thunder installation directory. The default is the C drive. Because the Thunder downloads the BT, the torrent file will be saved to the Thunder installation directory. ;profiles” temporary folder, BT downloads often have a lot of seed files, once the C disk space is insufficient, can not write to the "profiles" folder will cause this problem, most users are caused by this reason;

Solution: Use 360 Security Guard, Kingsoft Internet Security and other software to clean up the C drive disk space, delete redundant files, or manually uninstall some unnecessary software, let C drive Sufficiently large space; or install Thunder to other drive letters other than the C drive;

Second:

Download the drive file with the drive letter format FAT32, and download the single The file size exceeds 4G. When the disk format is FAT32 format, the maximum supported file size is 4G. Once a file capacity exceeds 4G, the disk write failure will occur.

Solution: FAT32 Convert the format to NTFS format, click “Start”Menu——>Select"Run”——>Enter“cmd”, click OK to open the command prompt ——> Command “convert X: /fs:ntfs” (without quotes), where X is the drive letter that needs to be converted. If you convert D drive, type "<;convert D: /fs:ntfs”, press Enter; < Br>

Third:

Set the directory where the Thunder download save file is directly set to the default C drive; usually, when the hard disk is partitioned, since the C drive is used as the system disk, the overall capacity is biased. Small, although there are several G capacity, but with the download The number of pieces is gradually increasing, and the user has not cleaned the disk in time, which will result in insufficient disk space on the C drive;

Solution: Change the default download save directory to another drive letter through the Thunder software setting. The character should have enough space;

Summary: The cause of the problem that the temporary file or its disk is unwritable is mainly because there are too many seed files when BT is downloaded, and Thunder saves the seed file to the default. The C drive installation directory & ldquo;profiles & rdquo; temporary folder, once the C disk space is too small to download large files will appear this problem.
