Firefox plug-in caused by the Flash Player plugin

Users familiar with the Firefox browser can be said to be a love and hate for the FlashPlayer plug-in produced by Adobe. This small video plug-in often causes the Firefox browser to delay online, Kardon, Not even responding, the final plug-in crashes. Recently, Adobe's official website has given a solution to the problem that the FirePlayer plugin caused the Firefox browser to be stuck. Although it is a solution for the old version 11.3, it is also applicable to the new version of the 11.x version.

Disable the security sandbox technology, mainly by modifying mms.cfg:

First find the path where the mms.cfg file is located:

Windows32-bit system::C:\\ Windows\\system32\\macromed\\flash

Windows64-bit system::C:\\windows\\syswow64\\macromed\\flash

Then, open mms.cfg with Notepad and add ProtectedMode=0

Note: Because the default users group of the mms.cfg file does not have write permission, you need to modify the permissions before you can save the modified content. Or copy the mms.cfg file from the system disk. After modifying it on other drive letters, overwrite the original mms.cfg file in the system disk path.

Especially Firefox13 and the Adobe Flash Player 11.3 plugin at the time, due to the introduction of sandbox security mechanism in Flash Player 11.3, Firefox has been unable to play its normal state, even crashing. Unlike the Google Chrome browser that comes with the FlashPlayer plugin, the Firefox browser requires the user to manually install the flash plugin. So the new and old versions, the official version, and the Beta version of the FlashPlayer plugin all require Firefox to test compatibility, so Xiaobian recommends users. The latest version of the official FlashPlayer plugin can be updated in a timely manner.

Recently, users on Win8 and Win8.1 have found that the new version of Firefox and Flash Player 11.8 are not harmonious. Starting with Flash Player 11.3, the new plugin has introduced security sandbox technology. But this sandbox technology is far worse than the Google Chrome independent process, independent sandbox mechanism. If the FlashPlayer sandbox technology is really effective, it is frequently compromised and frequently upgraded, but it is a flash plugin. Therefore, if you want to completely solve the problem of the Firefox browser and the FlashPlayer plugin, the most direct way is to disable the Flash plugin. The most advanced method is to disable the FlashPlayer security sandbox technology. Browser Internet protection is still more reliable to the human brain or security software.
