Microsoft OneCare removes Outlook mail solution

  

Recently, Microsoft's upgrade to anti-virus engine Windows Live OneCare will isolate PST files - files used by Microsoft Oulook to store email messages. Microsoft will release the upgrade patch on the 13th of this month. At the same time, the Microsoft community released a solution to this problem:

1, close Outlook or Outlook Express program.
2. Click “Modify OneCare Settings” on the OneCare main user interface.
3. Click on the "Virus & Spyware" tab.
4, then electronic "isolation" button.
5, choose PST or DBX file.
6, click "Restore".

Once the email file has been restored, you will also need to modify the OneCare Anti-Virus settings to prevent this from happening in the future:
1. Click on “Modify OneCare Settings” on the main user interface.
2, select the "Virus & Spyware" tab.
3. Click the "Exclude" button.
4, click the "Add Folder" button.
5, select the folder containing DBX or PST files.
6. Click the "OK" button.
