Making personalized cartoon avatars with MSN Cartoon

  
Microsoft recently released an interesting online service, MSN Cartoon, an online system that lets you turn your avatar into a cartoon image that is easy to use and very fun. After the system turns the picture into a cartoon, it is set to the avatar of the Live Messenger software, and can also be sent to the friend via MMS. Let's take a look at the wonderful implementation process.

Tip: At present, this online service only supports browsers with IE6.0 or higher, and the operating system only supports Windows 2000/XP/2003.

Step 1: Visit MSN Cartoon's main page [Click to Access], then click the "Start Creating" link on the right side of the page.

Step 2: Next, you will be prompted to install the cartoon package. After clicking the "Install Cartoon" button on the page, you will be prompted to define the save path, then the download will start, and a simple installation will be required after the download is complete. This step is to install MSN Cartoon's production plugin in the system. After the installation is complete, return to this page and click the "Continue" button in the lower right corner.

Step 3: Go to the specific production wizard page. Click the "Open" button in the page shown below to find the source image to be used to make the cartoon avatar from the hard disk. After importing, you will see the image effect in the preview box on the left, and use the box to select the range of avatars to be processed. Finally click on the "Select Template" link on the right side of the page.

Step 4: Next, enter the selection page of the cartoon template. As you can see from this page, they provide different cartoon styles for three men and three women. After clicking one of the styles, the original photos will be automatically converted. After waiting, you can get a very cartoon facial outline. From the effect point of view, it has changed a lot from the original photo.

If you are not satisfied with the existing facial contour, you can click the preview box Under the "Adjust Outline" button; in the page that pops up, you can drag the points to adjust the outline of the face as shown in the prompt. After you have finished modifying it according to your preferences, click the "Convert to Cartoon" button to complete. Once you are satisfied, you can click the "Add Accessories" link on the right side of the page.

Step 5: Next, enter the most exciting step in making the face, adding an interesting facial retouch to the facial contour. The webpage provides users with three types of facial retouching functions: facial expressions, hairstyles and glasses (however, the facial expressions are internally defined, ie the final created cartoon avatar will contain these 14 forms, with 14 GIF graphics files are packaged and saved). Its material library is also quite rich, hairstyles and glasses materials can click the up and down arrows to select different styles. How to make this cartoon avatar look more personalized, it depends on everyone's match. When you are done, click the "Complete Create" link on the right side of the page.

Step 6: The next step is to save the production results. If you want to apply this cartoon picture to the MSN avatar, click the “Package Download” button; if you want to send this cartoon image to your friend as a multimedia message, you can click the “Send MMS” button (the SMS fee is 1) Yuan /Article).

Take "package download" as an example. After entering the "package download" page, click on a picture size to save the cartoon picture to the hard disk directory. It should be noted that smaller avatars are more suitable for Messenger display. The image below is the image file in the compressed file after the package is downloaded.

The next job is to open MSN, and then import the cartoon picture just made. As mentioned above, using MSN Cartoon to create a 14-character cartoon image of the same avatar, a graphic look tired and can be replaced at any time.
