FlashGet automatic classification download file

Although FlashGet provides the function of classifying and saving downloaded files, sometimes we still need to manually sort these files. In fact, we can add some download rules to let FlashGet automatically classify downloaded files. The following is an example of how to add a download rule by automatically moving the downloaded MP3 to the "MP3" folder in "Downloaded".

Step 1: Create a new rule

First click “Tools” → “Download Rules” in the main window menu, and click “New” button in the pop-up dialog box (as shown in the figure). 1), the dialog box shown in Figure 2 will now pop up. In the "Select Rule Condition", select "When the file extension matches a specific string" item, and select "Move to the specified category" in "Select Rule Action".

Step 4: Selecting the transfer folder

Click the "Move to the specified category" button in Figure 2 to open it. In the window, select the "MP3" folder under "Downloaded" as shown in Figure 4. Click the "OK" button.

The downloaded song extension MP3 will be automatically placed in the MP3 folder under "Downloaded", so it is very convenient for us to find the song.

Tips

You can right click on the "Downloaded" item in the FlashGet window, select the "New Category" command, you can create multiple download folders, and then create a few new rules. You can auto-categorize and download multiple files. For the method of how to create multiple download folders, you can refer to the previous example.
