I saved the Ghost image to the entire hard disk.

Q: When I was using the GHOST mirroring system, I originally planned to install the GHOST image to the C drive. I accidentally selected "Disk-→From Imag". The GHOST image is installed on the entire hard drive. After restarting the computer, the entire hard disk has only one C disk partition, D, E, F disk are gone, more than 200 GB of data, how can I find D, E, F disk?

A: Don't worry, the GHOST mirroring system is generally smaller than the original C disk. That is, it only writes the location of the original C disk, and does not write the location of the D, E, and F disks, as long as you recover the damaged. Partition table, you can solve the problem.

The specific solution is as follows:

First, restart the system to enter GHOST, click "Local" → "Disk" → "From Image" → "OK", in the Destination Drive Details In the interface, press the “Tab” button to move the cursor to the number bar below “New Size”, and enter the number to adjust the above capacity to the original C drive capacity. (If you don’t remember the original partition size of the C drive, you can set it to A slightly larger value than the GHO image file, such as 2GB to 5GB, and then click "OK" to restore the GHOST image to the hard disk.

Second, after the recovery is complete, restart the computer to enter the system

Third, double-click DiskGenius.exe to start Disk Genius, if you have recently backed up the hard disk partition table, use Disk Genius to recover the hard disk partition table This will restore the hard disk partition. If there is no backup partition table, click "Hard Disk" menu → "Search Lost Partition (Rebuild Partition Table)" to open the "Search Lost Partition" dialog box, click the "Start Search" button, wait a moment, Disk Genius will Scan the lost extended partition and find the D, E, and F disks in the extended partition. You can follow the software prompts and restart the computer to resume normal operation.

Note: If you accidentally delete the partition, or the disk partition is gone, do not write anything to the hard disk. You should use Disk Genius to search for lost partitions in the above way. Generally, you can find them quickly by sector search. If it is a C drive partition, you can remove the hard drive and hang it on another computer to recover it, or use WinPE to start recovery.
