ICH8 South Bridge installation Ghost system problem

Two days ago I assembled a new computer, the configuration is as follows: buckle meat 6300 (box), Intel DP965LT. After buying home, I can execute the format command, but it does not respond for a long time when I install XP. The 98 installation disk displays the following information: Device drive not found "MSCD-000", no valid CDROM device drivers selected, Bad command Or file name.

A: The message means that the device driver could not be found: MSC001, no matching CD-ROM drive, illegal drive specification, illegal command or file name. Intel's P965 motherboard is equipped with the ICH8 South Bridge. This South Bridge has abandoned the traditional PATA interface. The IDE interface on the motherboard is provided by a third-party chip. The Windows installer can load the driver of this third-party chip, but the DOS system is unrecognizable, and Ghost is DOS-based software. Although it can boot boot with the CD-ROM drive, the CD-ROM drive is not available after entering DOS. The solution is simple, install Windows XP in the normal way, instead of using the Ghost method.
