I believe many users are still not clear, the following small series for everyone to introduce the Win10 system completely shut down the indexing service function.

Step 1: Delete and Rebuild Indexes

1. Enter “Index Options" in the Cortana search box and click to open “Index Options (Control Panel)”;

2, then the indexing options window will pop up, we click on the & ldquo; Superior & rdquo; button to open the & ldquo; advanced options & rdquo; window;

3, in the advanced options window There is a "Rebuild" button, click to delete and rebuild the index.

Step two: stop and disable services WSearch

1, Win + R pressing operation open box, enter services.msc carriage;

2, & ldquo in; service Manager & rdquo; to the right to find & ldquo; Windows Search & rdquo; service;

3, double-click & ldquo; Windows Search & rdquo; service, open & ldquo; Windows Search properties & rdquo; window, click on the bottom of the & ldquo; stop & rdquo; button to stop the service, then the middle of the & ldquo; to enable the type & rdquo; to & ldquo; disable & rdquo ;, determined;

4, thus completely closed Win10 indexing function.

The above is the way that Xiaobian introduced the Win10 system to completely disable the indexing service function. I still don't know how to turn off the indexing service function for the Win10 system. Try the above steps to try it out.
