How to check if the Win10 system boot mode is UEFI Boot or Legacy BIOS?

Remember that your computer's Win10 system boot mode is UEFI Boot or Legacy BIOS? In the Win8 era, there are not a few users who use the UEFI mode startup mode. The UEFI interface has a better visual effect than the BIOS. In addition to the artificial change, the UEFI boot mode will also appear in the newly upgraded Win10 system. Because the upgrade process is automatic, we do not know that the BIOS has been replaced by UEFI.

Method 1. Record file identification:

When installing the operating system, the installer will collect some necessary information, how to start the computer. It is one of them. Find the setupact.log file in your computer's C:\\Windows\\Panther folder, open it with Notepad, and search for Detected Boot Environment, where you can see how the system boots.

When a friend sees you finding this line of text from this tens of megabytes of log files, it's really too X.

Method 2, Disk Manager Discrimination:

If you know the relationship between GPT and UEFI boot, then you may know that Windows wants to boot from GPT hard disk, it must be UEFI Start (and vice versa). Look at the hard disk type in the disk management, if it is GPT, then the computer must be UEFI boot. Open disk management, right click on the main hard disk, if it appears "converted to GPT disk", then the hard disk is MBR type; if it appears "converted to MBR disk", the hard disk is GPT type (because it is the main Hard disk, this item is gray unavailable state).

Method 3, System Information Identification:

Press Win+R to open the run, enter msinfo32, and press Enter to view the system information. In the BIOS mode, if "Traditional" is displayed, it means that the system startup mode is Legacy BIOS; if it is UEFI, UEFI is displayed.

Many users fail to enter the system after upgrading Win10. Most of the problems are due to the existence of UEFI. Users can upgrade Win10 system by hand to install Win10.
