Why do Windows 7 dual hard disk computers frequently make hard disk rotation sounds?

Although frequent shutdowns do not cause much damage to the life of the hard drive, you can choose to turn it off if you need a quiet working environment. The specific operation is as follows:
In the start menu, open the control panel.

Enter the "Hardware and Sound-> Power Options" window.

Select the currently used power plan and click on the "Change Plan Settings" link on the right side.

After entering the Edit Plan Settings window, select “Change Advanced Power Settings”.

Expand “Hard Disk -> Turn off the hard drive after this time”. We can see that the default setting is to turn off the hard drive after 20 minutes. You can reset it as needed, or simply set it to “never", click the “OK” button to save it.
