The main function of the LAN Web server is to achieve resource sharing, and at the same time, access to the page by means of the LAN server can effectively achieve information synchronization. With the Web server, we can upload our own information to the server anytime, anywhere, so that other users and users who are concerned about your knowledge can understand the thoughts and dynamics in the first time.

The following is how to set up a Web server under Windows7 system.
Step 1: Open the Control Panel, select and go to “Programs”, double-click “Open or close Windows Service”, select “All Information” in the pop-up window, click OK. After that, start updating the service.

Step two: After the update is complete, open the browser, enter & ldquo; http: //localhost /& rdquo; Enter, if IIS7 Welcome screen appears, indicating that the Web server has been set up successfully.

Step 3: When the web server is built successfully, what we need to do next is to install the website we developed into the directory of the web server. Under normal circumstances, when the web server is installed, the path "% system root directory %inetpub/wwwroot" will be created, and the website we developed will be COPY to the path. Local access to the site is now possible.

Step 4: Set up a firewall so that the LAN can access local website resources when other computers. Specific method: Open the control panel, select "System and Security", click "Allow the program to pass the Windows Firewall", and select the two check boxes on the right side of the "World Wide Web Service HTTP" in the pop-up dialog box. Finally click OK to exit.

Step 5: On other computers in the LAN, open the browser and enter the IP address of “http://Web server/” press Enter to access the resources on the server”. After the above steps are set, other users on the LAN can access the web resources you share through the browser!
