How to configure static IP address for win7
Step 1: You need to get your IP address from the network administrator.
Click on the bottom left corner of the operating system screen to “Start” button, select “Control Panel”,&&>View Network Status and Tasks Options

1, click “View Network Status And tasks & rdquo;, enter "Network and Sharing Center"

2, click on the right side of the "Connect: Wired Ethernet Connection" or "Connection: Local Connection"

3. Click <;Properties"

4. Double-click "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPV4)

5. Under "General", select “Use the following IP Address & rdquo;, enter “ IP address: 10.10.*. #& rdquo;, "Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0” & ldquo; default gateway: 10.10.*.254”; then select “ use the following DNS server address & rdquo;, then enter “ preferred DNS server: 10.1.1.12 & rdquo; and & ldquo; alternate DNS server: 202.189.127.108 & rdquo;, then click [OK] to complete all settings.
