Win7 desktop background can not be changed how to do

  
Method 1:
Enter the Easy Access Center in the Start Search box, press Enter.

Pull the slider to <;Browse all settings”. Click “ Make your computer easier to see”.

Check the bottom of the window <; Make the content displayed on the screen easier to view & rdquo; Partially delete the background image (if any) & rdquo; Is it checked? If so, please clear the check.

Check if the wallpaper can be changed? If it still doesn't work, please continue to Method 2.
Method 2:
(This step requires administrator privileges) How to set the blocking desktop background changes in Group Policy. Similarly, to change the background, reverse the operation and configure them separately to “not configured”


If your system does not support the version of the Group Policy Editor, you can try to modify directly from the registry, as follows:
use the key combination & ldquo; Win + R & rdquo; to bring up the Run command box . Type regedit.exe and press Enter to open the Registry Editor. (If the User Account Control window pops up, please allow to continue.)

Locate the following registry key in order:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionPolicies
Find ActiveDesktop items. (If not, right click on “Policies”, select “New” and click “ActiveDesktop”.

Click to expand ActiveDesktop, right click on the right detail window and select “New” ->DWORD value”, named NoChangingWallPaper.

Assign the new value NoChangingWallPaper. 1 means to prevent changes, 0 means to allow changes. Here, we assign it a value of 0.

Click “OK>Save changes and quit Registry Editor. Restart your computer.
Method 3:

Then double-click to open slideshow.ini and clear all file contents. Exit the resource manager.
