Modify win7 desktop path

  
Since the default location of the desktop is in the system disk of the computer, when our system encounters problems or reinstalls, it may lose the data we saved on the desktop. Here is a brief introduction to how to modify the desktop path.
First, use the mouse to double-click the "computer" icon, as shown in the figure

Second, find the system disk in the computer, click to open. Under normal circumstances is the C drive, as shown in the figure

Third, find the "Users" directory under the root directory of the system disk, as shown in the figure
Note: The user directory contains a directory of all users on the computer, and under Windows XP is the "Documents and Settings" directory.

4. Find our own account in the user directory, click to enter, as shown in the figure

5, then in us Select the "Desktop" directory in your own account directory, click the right mouse button, select the "Properties" option, as shown in the figure

Six, in the desktop properties window, Click on the "Location" option at the top, as shown in the figure

7. Next click on the "Move" button as shown in the figure

Eight, in the pop-up window, select the place we want to move the desktop, here is the case under the "desktop" directory moved to the E disk, as shown in the figure

Nine, select the new path to the desktop, click the "OK" button, as shown in the figure

10, then the system will prompt us to move the original desktop file Go to the new location, click the “Yes" button to continue, as shown

First, then wait for the system to move the Desktop file, you can see after the completion of all the contents of the desktop in the new path.
